Background
Clive joined the APN Property Group Limited as managing director in April 2004 after
a long and eminent career in property and funds management, having worked for Australia’s
leading retail property investment, management and development groups. Clive is
responsible for managing APN’s Private Funds division which includes two wholesale
funds and more than $1.5 billion value of completed development projects.
Key achievements
- Clive was instrumental in the merger of APN’s two unlisted entities and floating
the APN Property Group in 2005.
- Prior to joining the Group, Clive was the managing director of the Gandel Group
(1997-2005) which included the flagship Chadstone shopping centre. Chadstone is
valued as the single most expensive property in Australia (2009) at $2.9 billion.
Clive was intimately involved in repositioning the existing assets, market research,
construction and development of the Chadstone property.
- Clive was managing director of Centro Properties Limited (formerly Jennings Properties
Limited), between 1990 and 1997. During this period, Clive was involved in $1 billion
worth of development. Clive was a key leader in the acquisition and redevelopment
of the Myer Brisbane Centre.

Background
Tim joined APN in 2004 as a Senior Project Manager and is now Development Manager
for APN Development Fund No. 1 and APN Development Fund No. 2. Tim is in charge
of leading three major developments including: 567 Collins Street, 150 Collins Street
and Industry Village Port Melbourne. Tim has vast experience in construction and
development with specialist skills in end-to-end project management, contract administration,
onsite supervision, quality control, budgeting, feasibility analysis and contract
law.
Having previously worked for several leading property firms over the past 20 years,
Tim has expertise spanning all property sectors including: commercial office, major
retail centres, speciality shops, multi-density residential, apartments, hotels
and infrastructure.
Key achievements
- Managed the construction and delivery of a commercial industrial park consisting
of 120 units (Adamco Business Park Clayton, Victoria) valued at more than $100 million.
- Managed the construction and delivery of Omeco Business Park at Notting Hill (Victoria)
which consisted of 16,000m2 of commercial office and was valued at $64 million.
- Project managed the refurbishment of 350 and 257 Collins Street Melbourne office
towers valued at $76 million.
- Since joining APN, Tim has successfully delivered four major projects spanning commercial
office, residential apartments and hospital sectors to the value of $250 million.
David Barton

Background
David has an impressive 40 year track record in the construction industry having
worked on many complex projects spanning all property sectors including: commercial
office developments, major retail centres, speciality shops, multi-density residential
projects, apartment blocks, hotels and infrastructure projects such as residential
subdivisions and airports.
David commenced working with APN Property Group in 2004 and is currently responsible
for managing the development of Coolum and Yatala (South East Queensland) industrial
sub-divisions as well as project managing the construction of Industry Village,
Port Melbourne.
Key achievements
- During his time at APN David has successfully assisted in managing the purchase
of the Bendigo Bank Building at Docklands, secured a single blue chip tenant and
supervised the construction and development of this significant site.
- As Project Manager and Associate Director with Pizzey Noble, David led several major
building projects in Victoria including the Southgate office buildings and retail
complex and the Como development which included offices, retail, apartments and
hotel to the value of $650 million and $200 million respectively.
- David was responsible for the total financial management of the premier Collins
Place project (ANZ and AMP towers) in Melbourne which included end-to-end administration
of the project which encompassed managing a team of 20.

Background
Michael has more than 20 years professional corporate experience having held senior
Project Director and Chief Financial Officer roles in the financial advisory services
and property funds management sector in listed and unlisted environments. Michael
is recognised for his strategic and operational capabilities and has operated successfully
in both line and shared services roles.
Michael joined APN in 2007 and is responsible for the capital management, treasury,
risk management, financial analysis and operational management of APN’s two Private
Funds (APN Development Fund No.1 and APN Development Fund No.2).
Key achievements
- Michael successfully completed a significant number of merger and acquisition transactions
across a diverse range of industries ranging in value from $50 million to $4 billion.
- Successfully achieved financial close on a number of complex “Greenfield” developments
ranging in value from $50 million to $1 billion.
- Established new functions, delivered complex projects, solved organisational problems
and integrated organisations (asset and company level) in various roles held with
Perpetual Investments Limited, Austock and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.

Background
Bryce joined APN Property Group in 2003 and assisted with the establishment of APN’s
wholesale funds and seed assets for the APN Development Fund No. 1.
Bryce is currently responsible for managing The Capitol South Yarra, a prime mixed
use development (retail, office and residential) located on the corner of Toorak
Road and Chapel Street in South Yarra, Melbourne.
Key achievements
- Assisted with the launch of the APN Development Fund No.1
- Assisted with the acquisition of underlying assets of the APN Development Fund No.
1 which has $105 million committed equity
- Secured town planning approval for The Capitol South Yarra (July 2009)
